Jersey is the largest of all the Channel Islands and it is the most southerly island of the British Isles. It lies just a mere 14 miles from the coast of France.

 

Although it is the largest of all the Channel Islands, it is still only 45 square miles. Despite its compact size there is a lot to do and explore, with endless opportunities to explore and discover unexpected landmarks and areas of the island. Jersey Boat Show 2012 ~ this is a major event on the British boating calendar. Location: St. Helier.
Liberation Day ~ join islanders to celebrate the liberation from Occupying Forces during Wolrd War II.
Jersey Food Festival ~ this is a week long celebration of the iconic Jersey potato and the bountiful seafood and diary produce for which the island is famous.

 

June

Spring Fair ~ traditional fair combines with the Jersey Rose and Flower Show and Island Cattle Show to promise a full entertainment programme for  all the family
June in Bloom Floral Festival ~ open gardens, demonstrations, and flower shows
Bonne Nuit Harbour Festival ~ stalls and activities. Live music till late, refreshments and food served all day

 

July

West Show ~ country show features rural exhibits, traditional crafts stalls, demonstrations and food tastings

 

August

Airtel – Vodafone Jersey Seaside Festival 2012 ~ traditional seaside fun at Havre des Pas for the whole family

 

September

Jersey Live Festival ~ the coolest boutique music festival in Europe! Artist have appeared since its launch Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Dizzee Rascal Paul Weller and Kate Nash.
International Air Display ~ sights and sounds of one of the largest free air displays in Europe.
