You meet your coach, and travel to Dublin to join the morning ferry crossing to Holyhead. On arrival we travel to our hotel in the centre of Llandudno.
After breakfast we visit Caernarfon for some free time to stroll round the historical town with its famous castle. Then we cross over the Menai Straights to Anglesey with a stop at Beaumaris where we board a cruise to Puffin Island and enjoy the spectacular scenery and array of wildlife.
This morning we travel through Snowdonia National Park to board The Ffestiniog Railway, taking us on a spectacular mountainous through the park. After lunch we visit the picturesque village of Portmeirion.
We have the day free. The hotel is a perfect base to explore our surrounds on foot, located just a few steps from the town centre and its many shops, restaurant and bars. The immaculate seafront has a delightful promenade and a wonderful golden sandy beach.
This morning we visit Penrhyn Castle, an impressive 19th century castle crammed with fascinating items and exhibitions including its railway museum. Then on to Holyhead to join the afternoon ferry crossing to Dublin Port. On arrival you will return to you original joining point.
