The Northern Lights, also known as Aurora Borealis, are caused by the interaction of particles from the sun with the upper atmosphere near the North Pole.

Please check in at Belfast International Airport for your flight to Keflavik. On arrival, you will be transferred from the airport to your hotel in Reykjavik.
In the evening, you will enjoy a Northern Lights tour which takes you to see a spectacular natural phenomenon, which happens during the winter months.

THE GOLDEN CIRCLE EXPRESS TOUR – £77 per person
the 6 hour escorted coach tour visits many of Iceland’s stunning scenery including the Strokkur Geyser – shooting a 30 metre column of water every 4-8 minutes, the fabulous Gullfoss waterfall and the Thingvellir National Park, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates meet – and separate at a rate of 2cm per year. This tour is always popular with our guests and highly recommended.
GOLDEN CIRCLE & LANGJOKULL SNOWMOBILING – £260 per person
A full day, this tour combines the widely popular Golden Circle tour with a fantastic opportunity to snowmobile on Langjokull glacier – Iceland’s second largest. Visit Pingvellir National Park, Geysir and the fabulous Gullfoss waterfall. During the tour you will take a one hour exhilarating snowmobile tour on the vast white snow-cap.
Note: 2 persons on same snowmobile. Valid driver’s licence required.
Due to sudden weather changes the snowmobile ride may be cancelled after your tour departs Reykjavik.
LAVA TUNNEL TOUR – £105 per person
On this brand new tour you visit the Lava Tunnel Raufarholshellir located only 30 minutes from Reykjavik. Witness the inner workings of a volcanic erruption while we walk in the path of a lava that flowed thousands of years ago. The lava tunnel is one of the biggest in Iceland, up to 30 metres wide and 10 metres high. Not suitable for anone with walking difficulties
