Meet your coach and travel to Belfast. Join the early morning ferry crossing to Cairnryan where we will be transferred to our hotel in the Victorian Spa town of Harrogate.

Day 2
After breakfast we visit The Ripon Workhouse Museum & Gardens – a recreation of the harsh life lived by the least fortunate in the 19th century. After lunch we visit the magnificent Castle Howard, setting for the TV series Brideshead Revisited and one of Britain’s finest historic houses surrounded by 1,000 acres of landscaped gardens.

Day 3
Today we board a steam-hauled train in Whitby on the North Yorkshire Moors Railways for a spectacular journey through 24 miles of beautiful Yorkshire countryside including Heartbeat’s Goathland, then on to Pickering. We visit the seaside town of Scarborough known as “The Queen of the Yorkshire Coast” with its dramatic cliffs, historic harbour and award winning beaches.
