The Riverside Hotel
The Riverside Hotel is situated on the banks of the River Kent in Kendal only a short walk from the famous market town centre.
Hotel facilities include bar, restaurant, health and leisure club.
All rooms include tea and coffee making facilities, freeview television, free wifi, direct dial telephone, hairdryer and ironing facilities.
Friday:
You meet your coach and travel to Belfast to join the early morning ferry crossing to Cairnryan, stopping off en route, and arriving at your hotel late afternoon. Why not visit K Village, the Lakes Outlet shopping centre?
Saturday:
Today you travel to Keswick, nestled on the shores of Derwentwater, where you will have free time to explore the renowned Saturday market. Later in the day you will stop off in the picturesque Georgian town of Whitehaven before travelling along the scenic Cumbrian coast en route back to your hotel.
Sunday:
This morning after breakfast, you travel to Haverthwaite to board the steam train for a delightful 20 minute journey to Lakeside. On arrival, you will join the 90 minute Lake Windermere ferry cruise to Ambleside, England’s largest natural lake. To end a wonderful day you will have free time in Bowness-on-Windermere, the most popular holiday resort in the Lake District.
Monday:
You depart your hotel and travel to the popular town of Grasmere before travelling to Cairnryan. On arrival in Belfast, you return to your original joining point.
