We are delighted to introduce our new TV, film and literary tour which takes you through the splendid countryside of the Yorkshire Moors and Dales, and the beautiful Peak District. The towns and villages visited along the way are where writers took inspiration, and producers created film locations, for productions such as Emmerdale, Last of the Summer Wine, Heartbeat, Pride & Prejudice, and Calendar Girls to name a few.

Kimberley Hotel, Harrogate
The newly refurbished Kimberley Hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Harrogate's town centre.
Hotel facilities include a bistro and a restaurant.

The Leopold Hotel
The Leopold Hotel is et in the Tuscan styled Leopold Square that offers an array of individual eateries and bars - you need only step out of the hotel to find yourself in the most sought after area of Sheffield.
Hotel facilities include a bar and restaurant.
All rooms include flat screen TV, hair dryer, iron and ironing board.
Day 1:
You meet your coach, and travel to Larne to join the early morning ferry crossing to Cairnryan. On arrival, you continue to your hotel in Harrogate, stopping off en route in the village of Kettlewell, aka Knapely in Calendar Girls.
Day 2:
This morning you embark on a vintage steam train journey through the Yorkshire Moors travelling through Goathland station, well known for appearing as Hogsmeade station in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. You will rejoin your coach and travel to village of Goathland AKA Aidensfield, a fictional village made famous by the ever popular TV series, Heartbeat. Afterwards, you travel to Whitby, a film location for Heartbeat, and a beautiful seaside town.
Day 3:
Today you travel to Esholt, formally Emmerdale’s ‘Beckindale’, to enjoy a guided tour of the village, and a visit to the original ‘Woolpack’. Afterwards you travel to Otley, known as ‘Hotton’ in Emmerdale, with free time to explore and enjoy the Saturday market. Lastly you will visit the bustling market town of Skipton, well known film location for the blockbuster movie Calendar Girls.
Day 4:
After breakfast, you depart your hotel and travel to the market town of Holmfirth and tour around the film locations used in "The Last of the Summer Wine". Why not have a nice cuppa in Sid’s Café or a visit the dedicated exhibition (payable locally). Afterwards you travel to your hotel in Sheffield.
Day 5:
This morning you will travel to the town of Bakewell, home to the original Bakewell Pudding Shop. Afterwards you visit Chatsworth House, home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, well known for TV dramas such as Jane Eyre to feature films, most notably Pride and Prejudice and The Duchess.
Day 6:
You depart your hotel and travel to Cairnryan, stopping off in the village of Haworth, home to the lives and novels of the Bronte Family (museum payable locally). On arrival in Larne, you return to your original joining point.
