Day 1

Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point and travel to Belfast Port to join the early morning sailing to Scotland. On arrival in Cairnryan we travel to Ayr, enjoy some time to explore all that this beautiful seaside town has to offer. At the heart of Robert Burns Country, Ayr is a great shopping town with a diverse selection of small shops and larger retailers.


Day 2

Today we take a short but beautiful drive over the Kyles of Bute to catch the short crossing from Colintraive to the Isle of Bute.  Stop in the Victorian seaside town of Rothesay and enjoy some free time.  Re-join your coach for the coastal drive to Mount Stuart, a 19th century neo-gothic mansion with extravagant interiors and over 300 acres of landscape gardens with a wide selection of native and exotic flora.  The woodland walks lead to a private beach with views across the Firth of Clyde.


Day 3

This morning enjoy some free time in Dunoon, perhaps visit Castle House Museum or stroll along the attractive promenade.  In the Afternoon we will tour along The Holy Loch and Loch Fyne to the ancient maritime port of Inveraray.  Entry into Inveraray Castle and Gardens.  The castle is home to the Duke of Argyll playing an important role in the shaping of Scotland through the ages.  The gardens cover sixteen acres.  The remainder being park and woodland extending to 180 hectares forming one of the most important designed landscapes in Scotland.


Day 4

Today we travel to Portavadie for the ferry crossing to Tarbert.  Travel south along the Mull of Kintyre coastline to catch the short ferry crossing over to the unspoilt Isle of Gigha – 7 miles long and 1 mile wide, with sandy beaches, clear green seas, and an increasing population of 165.  Visit Achamore Gardens – 50 acres of natural woodland, large walled gardens, and pond area with many rare plants.  After visiting the vantage points on the islands, a soup and sandwich lunch is provided before re-tracing our steps back to our hotel in Dunoon.


Day 5

After a leisurely breakfast and checking out, we make our way to Glasgow to enjoy some free time to explore the city.  Glasgow is rich with industrial heritage, striking architecture and a brilliant mix of top attractions, there are hundreds of amazing things to see and do in this city.  Mid-afternoon meet your coach and travel to the port of Cairnryan to join the evening ferry crossing to Belfast.
