3* Broadhaven Bay Hotel, Belmullet, Co. Mayo

The Broadhaven Bay Hotel is only a 5 minutes’ walk from the centre of Belmullet. This hotel is surrounded by the breath-taking scenery of the Atlantic coast and Broadhaven Bay. Guests can take boat trips to explore the surrounding islands,  and enjoy other outdoor activities, including  fishing, birdwatching, and hiking.

Rooms are elegant and stylish, and have plasma TVs with satellite channels. Other features include tea and coffee making facilities and an en suite bathroom with free toiletries.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point.  Sit back and relax as you travel West, stopping in Sligo for some free time before continuing the journey arriving late afternoon at the Broadhaven Bay Hotel for check-in, with time to freshen up before dinner.

 

DAY 2

This morning we depart after breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), join your coach as we travel to the Heritage town of Westport one of Irelands major tourist destinations.  Located at the south east corner of Clew Bay, near the sea with the famous Mayo Mountains in the backdrop.  The town offers some fabulous picturesque views and features. Take time to explore the elegant tree-lined streets along the river known as The Mall. Bustling Bridge Street is the main shopping street with cheerful shop fronts and the central square. Late afternoon re-join your coach (departure time and point will be confirmed by your tour manager) and travel back to your hotel.

 

DAY 3

After breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager). join your coach for a full day tour.  Visit one of the wildest spots in Ireland, Connemara National Park.  With contrasting scenery from Killary Harbour, Ireland’s only fjord, to the peaceful lakes and steep slopes of the Twelve pins and the boggy heathlands that make the region unique.  Afterward we visit Kylemore Abbey, the picturesque monastic home of the Irish Benedictine nuns, famous for its miniature cathedral, Victorian walled gardens, and gothic church.  Late afternoon re-join your coach (departure time and point will be confirmed by your tour manager) and travel back to your hotel.

 

DAY 4

This morning we depart after breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), join your coach as we tour the famous Wild Atlantic way admiring the stunning coast, scenery and views.  Discover signature points and photo opportunities as we encounter moments of magic, moments to treasure and experiences that you will want to return to again and again before returning to your hotel.

 

DAY 5

This morning after breakfast and checking out (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), join your coach for the journey home, travelling via Enniskillen with a stop for some time to explore before re-joining your coach to continue the journey returning to your original joining point early evening.
