We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Finance Assistant!
Travel Solutions is NI’s leading and multi award winning Tour Operator; as part of our next and exciting stage of growth and development we want a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Director in ensuring the company’s financial requirements are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Purchase Ledger posting of receipts and payments using specialist written package for Travel Solutions
- Extensive daily use of spreadsheets
- Daily Credit card posting and reconciliations
- Daily/Monthly Bank reconciliations
- Daily Bank lodgements
- Online Banking duties – all payments to suppliers via BACS using multi-currency
- Credit control duties – chasing up outstanding debt
- Multi intercompany transfers
- Other ad-hoc duties as required
- General admin associated with the running of a busy accounts department
- Sage accounts package experience
Essential Criteria:
- Excellent IT skills
- Planning and organisational skills
- You must be comfortable working as a team and on your own initiative
- Accuracy/Strong attention to detail
- Confident, positive and energetic individual
The ideal candidate will be/have
- 6+ years’ experience in a busy office environment, used to working to strict deadlines
- Strong organisational skills, communicative skills with the ability to multi-task
- Customer focused, self-motivated, hardworking and driven team player,
- IT literate and with a degree of working knowledge of all Microsoft programmes
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident, positive and energetic individual
