We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as an Senior Finance Assistant!

 

Travel Solutions is NI’s leading and multi award winning Tour Operator; as part of our next and exciting stage of growth and development we want a Finance Assistant to support the Finance Director in ensuring the company’s financial requirements are met.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Purchase Ledger posting of receipts and payments using specialist written package for Travel Solutions
  • Extensive daily use of spreadsheets
  • Daily Credit card posting and reconciliations
  • Daily/Monthly Bank reconciliations
  • Daily Bank lodgements
  • Online Banking duties – all payments to suppliers via BACS using multi-currency
  • Credit control duties – chasing up outstanding debt
  • Multi intercompany transfers
  • Other ad-hoc duties as required
  • General admin associated with the running of a busy accounts department
  • Monthly reconciliation of purchase ledgers
  • Supervision of Finance Staff

 

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent IT skills
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • You must be comfortable working as a team and on your own initiative
  • Accuracy/Strong attention to detail
  • Confident, positive, and energetic individual
