Discover the stunning beauty of Scotland’s Ayrshire Coast and Isles. This tour takes us to the charming corner of Scotland located on the picturesque Clyde Coast of Ayrshire, the gateway to one of Scotland’s finest islands the Isle of Arran. The base for our tour is the Riverside lodge hotel located on the outskirts of Irvine. This tour combines exploration of the Ayrshire Coast with a port of island hopping. Featured are a visit to Brodick Castle and plenty of time at leisure. Explore the unique and rugged beauty of the Isle of Arran with its mountains, lowlands, glens, and lochs.

Located on the outskirts of Irvine, Ayrshire, Riverside Lodge Hotel is only 7 minutes away from the sandy beach. The fresh and airy rooms feature tea and coffee facilities, en suite bathrooms, and free Wi-Fi. All rooms are elegantly decorated with satin cushions and wooden headboards. Rooms also offer TVs with Freeview and a work desk.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point and travel to Belfast Port to join the early morning sailing to Scotland. On arrival in Cairnryan, we travel to our hotel in Irvine. On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon to relax before dinner.

DAY 2

Today, after breakfast, join your coach (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) for a scenic drive to the charming seaside resort of Largs for the short crossing to Great Cumbrae, a small and picturesque island only 10 miles round. Stop in Millport before the return crossing to Langs. This afternoon, spend some time at leisure in Troon with its sandy beaches, beautiful views, and bustling harbour. Afterwards, rejoin your coach and return to your hotel to relax before dinner.

DAY 3

After breakfast, join your coach (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) for a full-day excursion to the Isle of Arran. We will take the ferry Ardrossan to Brodick and then begin the day with a visit to Brodick Castle. Dramatically set against the backdrop of Goatfell, the grand red sandstone, baronial-style castle has stunning views over Brodick Bay and boasts impressive gardens. Spend time in Brodick before re-boarding the ferry back to the mainland and returning to our hotel in Irvine for dinner.

DAY 4

This morning, after breakfast and checking out (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), bid farewell to Irvine as we make our way back to the port of Cairnryan with a comfort stop en route before joining the afternoon ferry crossing to Belfast. On arrival, you return to your original joining point.
