Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point. We’ll travel south towards Tralee making comfort stops en-route before arriving late afternoon at the West Lodge Hotel in Bantry.
This morning we depart after breakfast to discover the natural beauty of Glengarrif where ocean, river and ancient oak forest meet. Take a trip by boat to the exotic garden island of Garnish, world renowned for its Italian Gardens and famous collection of plants. Afterwards visit the beautiful town of Kenmare nestling peacefully in the mouth of the Bay before a tour of the stunningly beautiful Beara Penninsula. Later you will meet your coach and make your way to your hotel.
After breakfast we depart to spend the day exploring the colourful laneways of Killarney and take a scenic drive through the Ring of Kerry, the mystical unspoilt region of Ireland, with constantly changing scenery of mountains, beaches and cliffs. Stop to admire the natural beauty of three lakes at Moll’s Gap and the picturesque village of Sneem with its quaint Italianate church and colourful houses. In the afternoon we make a stop at the renowned Muckross House and Gardens, renowned for their beauty, where there are flowers all year round and visit the dramatic falls of the Torc Waterfall and the lake. Later you will meet your coach and make your way to your hotel.
After breakfast we depart to enjoy the dramatic scenery of the Kilmore Peninsula, as today we visit the colourful town of Skibbereen, then drive on to Mizen Head at the extreme south western tip of Ireland to cross the suspension footbridge high above the gorge full of the swirling Atlantic Ocean and look out for whales and dolphins before visiting the award winning Mizen Signal Station. Stop off for lunch at the costal village of Schull nestling beneath the foothills of Mount Gabriel before a visit to Bantry House and Gardens, a beautiful 18th century stately home with stunning views over the bay. Later you will meet your coach and make your way to your hotel.
This morning after breakfast and checking out, we bid farewell to Bantry Bay and join the coach for the journey home back to your original pick-up point, making comfort stops en-route.
