Check in at Belfast International airport for your afternoon flight to Dubrovnik. On arrival, you will take the short journey into Bosnia and Herzegovina and your hotel for the next four nights.
Depart this morning travelling through the Neretva Valley which leads to Mostar. The historic city is architecturally remarkable with its Ottoman style houses and its old bridge, Stari Most. Join your local guide for a tour of the UNESCO world heritage site – lunch included. Later in the day, return to your hotel for dinner.
After breakfast, you travel to Dubrovnik where you meet your local guide for an escorted tour of this famous and beautiful city. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant, after which you will have the afternoon to explore at your own pace.
Today visit the monastery of Trebinje overlooking the town, and a guided tour with wine tasting before lunch. In the afternoon travel through the plain of Konavle to Gruda, with an opportunity to sample some local wine and food specialities.
This morning you will cross the border into Montenegro, visiting the Bay of Kotor, the largest Adriatic Fjord and acclaimed by many for its scenic beauty. Visit Kotor, with its rich history and under the protective of UNESCO, for lunch and later a guided tour of the millennial city. Check in to your new hotel at Budva.
Today we travel to Tirana, the capital city of Albania – a country closed to most visitors until recent times. Visit the National Museum with its rich collections of Greek and Roman artefacts and spend some time in the colourful streets and squares.
After breakfast depart for a full day tour, visiting Njegusi, and Cetinje. Visit the palace of the last King of the region, finishing the afternoon in Budva with its medieval centre, which has now become a popular seaside resort.
After breakfast, travel to Dubrovnik for some free time before arriving at the airport for your early evening flight home.
