Itinerary

Day 1

Join your coach at your chosen departure point, then travel to the Belfast ferry terminal to join the Stena Line crossing to Cairnryan. On arrival in Scotland, we continue our journey towards Manchester with a stop at the Gretna Green Outlet Village for some free time before travelling on to Altrincham. On arrival at your hotel check-in before enjoying the evening relaxing in the hotel or stroll into Altrincham for a choice of exciting bars and restaurants.

Day 2

Today after breakfast, we depart the hotel and travel to Manchester’s Salford Quays area. Visit the Coronation Street MediaCityUK sets. On arrival meet your guide (Please note you will be subject to a person and bag search prior to starting the tour.) for an escorted tour of the exterior sets of Coronation Street. Hear first-hand the fascinating stories and filming secrets from the studio guides as you’re given the chance to stroll Coronation Street, Rosamund Street and the newly extended Victoria Street to see Roy’s Rolls, The Kabin, Underworld and of course – the Rovers Return. Head behind the scenes to discover the wonders of the production process, capture your time on set with a selfie and see the iconic locations you’ve watched on your screen for over 50 years! Afterwards join your coach to travel into Manchester City Centre for some free time to explore the city at your leisure before returning to the hotel late afternoon. The evening is free to explore Altrincham or jump on the Metrolink (a short walk from the hotel) and travel into Manchester City Centre.

Day 3

This morning after breakfast and checking out, travel to Carlisle for some free time for some shopping or sightseeing. Later in the afternoon travel onwards to Cairnryan to join the evening ferry crossing to Belfast. On arrival, you return to your original joining point.
