Day 1
Fly from Dublin to Barcelona to kick off your cruise with NCL! Once onboard explore the ship and all it has to offer. Why not take the opportunity to book any excursions or Broadway shows you may like to do during the week. (Any NCL excursions booked are at an additional cost)
Day 2
Visit Marseille located on the Mediterranean coast, is the oldest city in France and was founded in 600 BC. Amongst the many terracotta-roofed buildings lies many intriguing sights including the Cathedral of Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde.
Day 3
Today you will arrive in the glamorous city of Cannes on the French Riviera. Stroll along the palm lined waterfront, shop in the many boutiques or just relax with a coffee outside one of the countless cafes, watching the world go by.
Day 4-5
Livorno is your point of entry into the Northern Italy area of Tuscany. Why not visit Florence where you can see artworks from masters such as Michelangelo and Botticelli or if you prefer Pisa and its famous bell tower is only a short distance away.
Day 6
In the morning you will arrive in the port city of Civitavecchia from where you can visit the Eternal City of Rome. With over 50 sites listed in UNESCO World Heritage List there is no shortage of things to see.
Day 7
Today visit Naples, it’s Italy’s third-largest city and is one of its oldest, most artistic and most appetising. Its archaeological treasures are among the world’s most important, and the legendary Mount Vesuvius and the doomed city of Pompeii are always high on the sightseeing list.
Day 8
Today visit Cagliari, the capital of Sardinia, provides the perfect blend of modern life and medieval mystery on your Italian cruise. Check out the thousands of mysterious nuraghi (stone dwellings) found on the island. See Mercato di San Benedetto, and photograph the amazing museum citadel.
Day 9
Palma, Majorca is todays port of call. Sightseeing today could include the impressive gothic cathedral of Santa Maria as well as the medieval fortress of Bellver Castle.
Day 10
Visit Ibiza with its youthful spirit and natural beauty, the Balearic island of Ibiza (or “Eivissa,” as it’s known locally) is perfect for those who love the outdoors. The beach coastline is majestically rugged, and the hills are covered with olive and fig trees. Two of the most popular beaches are Talamanca and Ses Figueretes. The capital of Ciudad de Ibiza offers a variety of experiences to discover, especially in the historic Dalt Vila district. From the 16th century Castle of Ibiza to the Museum of Contemporary Art and scenic strolls along beautiful cobblestone streets, there’s something for everyone.
Day 11
All too soon you find yourself back in Barcelona. Your transfer will be waiting to take you to the airport for your return flight home.
