Jump on the NCL Getaway for an epic journey cruising from Athens through Malta and Alicante, all the way to Lisbon!

DAY 1 – Arrival in Athens, Greece

On arrival at Dublin Airport Terminal 2, make your way to the Aer Lingus check-in desk area before proceeding through security to your departure gate. On arrival in Athens, after collecting your luggage, make your own way to your 3* pre-cruise accommodation in Athens for a great nights’ sleep before embarking on your NCL Getaway Cruise adventure.

DAY 2 – Athens, Greece & Embark NCL Getaway

Check out of your hotel and make your way to Athens cruise terminal where your cabin on the Norwegian Getaway awaits.

Once onboard explore the ship and all it has to offer. Why not take the opportunity to book any excursions or Broadway shows you may like to do during the week. (Any NCL excursions booked are at an additional cost)

DAY 3 – At Sea

Spend the day at sea and enjoy all that Norwegian Getaway has to offer onboard.

DAY 4 – Valletta, Malta

Although somewhat scarred by World War II, Valletta prides itself on its magnificent Baroque palaces, piazzas, gardens and churches. The Magisterial Palace, built between 1571 and 1574, now houses the Maltese Parliament and offices of the President of Malta.

DAY 5 – At Sea

Spend the day at sea and enjoy all that Norwegian Getaway has to offer onboard.

DAY 6 – Alicante, Spain

This Costa Blanca jewel lies between mountains and sea fronted with miles of beaches. Spanish Baroque at its finest, Cathedral de San Nicolas is well worth the stop. Discover the La Alcudia Archaeological Sites, a working dig occupied since the Stone Age.

DAY 7 – Motril, Spain

Motril is a magnificent Spanish gem on the Mediterranean coast. The relaxing sands of Playa de Torrenueva are a great place to spend a sunny day. For some inland exploring, head to the Cueva Del Capitan for a fantastic nature hike. There’s also plenty of history waiting to be experienced in the city. Stop by the Santuario de Nuestra Se ora de la Cabeza to see a 17th-century church surrounded by incredible panoramic views. Then head to the Pre-industrial Sugar Cane Museum to learn all about the region’s staple crop.

DAY 8 – Seville (Cadiz), Spain

Indulge in the culture of Andalusia’s capital of Seville and visit its stunning Cathedral, one of the largest in the world. Stop and taste the tapas and smell the orange blossoms during a stroll down the winding Medieval lanes. But be sure you leave time to visit the breathtaking Plaza de Espana.

DAY 9 – Lisbon, Portugal

All too soon you find yourself in Lisbon. Please do not leave luggage outside cabin on the last evening.

Disembark the ship make your own way back to Lisbon airport for your return flight to Dublin.
