Join us for a weekend break and start your Christmas shopping at the famous Metro Centre – get set for shopping heaven at the North-East’s ultimate shopping destination with over 300 stores all under one roof to help inspire your gifting this season. Staying in the Hampton by Hilton Newcastle located just opposite Newcastle Central Station in the heart of the city, this friendly Newcastle hotel is just a short walk from all the shopping, dining & night time entertainment. Newcastle has many shops offering a wide variety to suit everyone’s tastes as you soak up the Christmas Spirit.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point and travel to Belfast to join the early morning ferry crossing to Cairnryan. On arrival in Cairnryan, we’ll travel to Newcastle making a stop en-route at the Caledonia Park Designer Outlet Village, Gretna Green for some free time. Re-join your coach and continue the journey to your hotel. Check-in to your hotel, relax and freshen up before dinner.

DAY 2

Today after breakfast (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) travel the short distance to the Metro Centre, it’s the north-east’s ultimate shopping destination with over 300 stores – get set for shopping heaven! You’ll find big-name international brands alongside all your high street favourites. Look out too for some local inspiration from small independent boutiques and artisan producers to make your shopping trip truly memorable. Late afternoon, re-join your coach (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) and make your way to your hotel to relax and freshen up before dinner.

DAY 3

This morning after, breakfast and checking out, enjoy some free time in Newcastle City Centre to do some sightseeing or more shopping before joining your coach to travel to the port of Cairnryan to join the evening ferry crossing to Belfast. On arrival, you return to your original starting point.
