Itinerary

DAY 1

Meet your coach at your selected joining point and travel to Belfast for the early morning ferry crossing to Cairnryan. On arrival in Cairnryan, we continue our journey to York with a comfort stop en-route before arriving at your hotel late afternoon.

DAY 2

After breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) enjoy the day at leisure to explore the historic city of York. We will meet our guide for a walking city tour (this will last approx. 2 hours), York is one of the most beautiful and historic cities in the country with the splendour of York Minster, packed with fascinating history, medieval city walls, vibrant restaurants, and tea rooms from roman times to present day there is so much to see and enjoy. Afterwards enjoy some time to explore at your leisure. Afterwards return to your hotel to relax before dinner.

DAY 3

Today after a leisurely breakfast join your coach as we travel to spend the day visiting Castle Howard, built in 1699, Castle Howard is one of the country’s finest historic houses and is still the private residence of the Howard family. Castle Howard features exhibits related to Decorative and Applied Art, Fine Art, Social History and Architecture. Key themes, people and exhibits in the museum include Gainsborough, Crown Derby, Canaletto, Reynolds, and Holbein. Afterwards rejoin your coach and return to York.

DAY 4

This morning after breakfast and checking out (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), bid farewell to York, and depart for our return journey to Cairnryan making a comfort stop enroute to join the early evening ferry crossing to Belfast. On arrival, you return to your original joining point.
