Day 1 – Arrival in Lisbon On arrival at Dublin Airport, make your way to the check-in desk area before proceeding through security to your departure gate. On arrival in Lisbon Airport, after collecting your luggage, make your own way to your pre-cruise accommodation in Lisbon for a great nights’ sleep before embarking on your NCL Star Cruise adventure.

Day 2 – Lisbon & Embark NCL Star Check out of your hotel and make your way to Lisbon cruise terminal where your cabin on the Norwegian Star awaits. Once onboard explore the ship and all it has to offer. Why not take the opportunity to book any excursions or Broadway shows you may like to do during the week. (Any NCL excursions booked are at an additional cost). An unforgettable stop on any European cruise, with its Gothic cathedrals, medieval castle, and quaint village neighborhoods, Lisbon is Portugal’s feature attraction and has been the country’s capital since 1147. Wander the narrow cobblestone streets of this city at your own leisurely pace, stopping along the way at a remarkable museum or 1930’s era patio cafe.

Day 3 – At Sea Today enjoy a day at sea and some time to explore all NCL Star has to offer

Day 4 – Ponta Delgada, Azores As the heart of tourism of the Azores, Ponta Delgada offers much to see and do along with a mild climate and lush vegetation. Impressive churches and majestic white houses stand as a constant reminder of the city’s illustrious past.

Day 5 – Horta, Azores Tucked away in the Azores islands, Horta is a popular stop for boats crossing the Atlantic. It’s easy to see why, there’s something for everyone here. If you’re looking for an outdoor adventure full of greenery, cliffs and volcanos, visit the Vulc o dos Capelinhos, where an eruption in the 1950s actually extended the island and buried a lighthouse in ash. Or take a stroll around town and visit the 16th century castle built to defend the harbour. You can also spend time on the water: fishing, scuba diving, whale watching, and water sports are all very popular here.

Day 6 – At Sea Relax and enjoy everything NCL Star has to offer.

Day 7 – Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands Located at the eastern tip of the island of Tenerife, the largest of the Canary Islands, Santa Cruz is a natural cruise destination as over half of its perimeter is shoreline. The beaches are lovely at that, from the yellow sands of Las Teresitas to the black sands of the quieter, clothing-optional Las Gaviotas. There’s also plenty to do and see inland, especially if you’re here during the spectacular Carnival.

Day 8 – Arrecife (Lanzarote), Canary Islands The capital of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, Arrecife (which means “reef’ in Spanish) is renowned for its abundance of reefs and islets along its coast. If your cruise takes you to Arrecife, be sure to explore this island’s many natural wonders, from the fabulous El Reducto beach to the craters, lava tunnels, canals and tubes of Los Volcanes Nature Park.

Day 9 – Agadir, Morocco Part bustling port town and part relaxing beach getaway, Agadir is a must-go. After an earthquake hit in 1960, the city had to almost completely rebuild itself. Now, it’s a beach holiday destination for the whole country. Take a walk on the promenade, pick up a slice from one of the city’s many delicious pizzerias, relax on the beach, and get a taste of the Moroccan street scene-all in one port.

Day 10 – Casablanca, Morocco The urban landscape of this famed city clearly demonstrates the contrasts between the old and the new. Start with a visit to the central market, a massive kaleidoscope of colours. Then kick off your shoes as you visit the modernist landmark of the Hassan II Mosque, the 3rd largest mosque in the world.

Day 11 – Seville (Cadiz), Spain Indulge in the culture of Andalusia’s capital of Seville and visit its stunning Cathedral, one of the largest in the world. Stop and taste the tapas and smell the orange blossoms during a stroll down the winding Medieval lanes. But be sure you leave time to visit the breathtaking Plaza de Espana.

Day 12 – Disembark in Lisbon and return flight home All too soon you find yourself in Lisbon. Please do not leave luggage outside cabin on the last evening. Disembark the ship and make your own way back to Lisbon airport for your return flight to Dublin.
