The Park Hotel is located near the centre the historic seaside town of Montrose, a pleasant just a few minutes’ walk from the High Street and the shops. The beautiful beach and the Montrose Golf Links golf course are a short walk from the hotel. The hotel offers 51 en-suite bedrooms, all rooms have flat-screen television, hairdryers, tea/coffee, direct dial phone and free WIFI access.

Itinerary
Day 1 Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point and travel to Belfast Port to join the early morning ferry crossing to Cairnryan. On arrival in Cairnryan we travel visit Glasgow for some free time to explore the city. Glasgow is rich with industrial heritage, striking architecture and a brilliant mix of top attractions, there are hundreds of amazing things to see and do in this city. Late afternoon, re-join your coach (departure point and time will be confirmed by your tour manager) and continue the journey to your hotel near Montrose. Arriving early afternoon, check-in and take time to explore Montrose or relax before dinner.
Day 2 After breakfast (departure to be confirmed by your tour manager), our first outing takes us north along the Angus coastline past the amazing Dunnottar Castle (photo stop only). The Castle’s location is the most evocative and romantic site imaginable. Perched on a cliff top amidst striking scenery with stunning seascape views, Dunnottar Castle is an intriguing piece if Scotland’s rich heritage. From here we visit Stonehaven, with its attractive working harbour. This is our lunch stop with a chance to explore the town before touring the Cairngorms National Park on our return to our hotel in Montrose.
Day 3 After breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) join your coach as we travel south along the coast to Ardbroath, home of the famous ‘smokies’. Why not take the opportunity to visit Spinks shop in the town for a taste of these local specialities (payable locally) – North Sea Haddock traditionally smoked over an oakwood fire. This afternoon we visit Glamis castle, situated in the foothills of the Angus Glens, family home of the Earls of Strathmore, and a favourite of the late Queen Mother. Early afternoon, rejoin your coach as we return to our hotel in Montrose to enjoy a cream tea – tea, scone, jam, and cream.
Day 4 Today after breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) join your coach as we travel to Dundee to enjoy some free time in Dundee – the ‘City of Discovery with a visit to the hugely acclaimed Victoria and Albert Museum. Enjoy a guided tour of the site where will learn the everyday relevance of design and how it improves our lives, experience the processes that underpin it and discover the little-known stories of Scottish design with an international impact. After our visit, enjoy some free time to explore Dundee at your leisure. Later we return to our hotel to relax and freshen up before dinner.
Day 5 Start your day with a leisurely breakfast, before checking out of your hotel (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), board your coach as we travel to visit the Falkirk Wheel and The Kelpies. Later we make our way to Cairnryan Port to join the evening ferry crossing to Belfast. On arrival, you return to your original joining point.
