Itinerary
Day 1: Travel & Caledonia Park Designer Outlet Village Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point and begin your journey with an early morning ferry crossing from Belfast to Cairnryan. Upon arrival in Scotland, we continue towards York, breaking the journey with a relaxing stop at the Caledonia Park Designer Outlet Village. Enjoy free time to browse a range of popular high-street and designer stores offering fantastic discounts—perfect for a bit of retail therapy or a leisurely lunch. We then continue the journey to York, arriving at your hotel in the late afternoon. Check-in, unwind, and freshen up before joining your group for dinner.
Day 2: Discover Harrogate + Royal Pump House Museum After breakfast, enjoy a leisurely morning exploring the elegant spa town of Harrogate at your own pace, renowned for its graceful Edwardian architecture and timeless charm. Why not take a stroll through the beautifully landscaped Valley Gardens, browse the town’s independent boutiques, or admire the historic Turkish Baths. Be sure to sop at the iconic Bettys Café Tea Rooms—why not treat yourself to a pot of tea and a slice of their famous cake in this much-loved local Institution. Late afternoon, meet your group to visit the Royal Pump House Museum (the tour manager will advise on the meeting point and time). Visit the Royal Pump Rooms Museum to discover why Charles Dickens said that ‘Harrogate is the queerest place with the strangest people in it, leading the oddest lives’. Afterwards, enjoy the evening at leisure in Harrogate.
Day 3: RHS Harlow Carr Gardens After breakfast, join your coach as we travel to visit RHS Harlow Carr Gardens, and take a Leisurely walk through all major garden areas. Take time to explore seasonal displays, woodland walks, and glasshouses. Stop for refreshments at Bettys Café Tea Rooms or lunch at the Bettys Tea House and ensure to pay a visit the gift shop and plant centre. Afterwards, rejoin your coach to return to Harrogate to enjoy the rest of the day at leisure in the elegant spa town.
Day 4: Homeward Bound After breakfast and check-out (departure time will be confirmed by your Tour Manager), we bid farewell to the beautiful Harrogate and begin our journey back to Cairnryan Port. Stopping en route to visit the Wensleydale Creamery in Hawes. You’ll have time to visit the café and the visitors’ centre. Afterwards, rejoin your coach to continue the journey to Cairnryan Port to board the evening ferry to Belfast. On arrival, you’ll return to your original joining point, bringing your tour to a close, taking with your fond memories of the scenic landscapes, charming towns, and warm hospitality of the Yorkshire Dales.
