Description

In July 2026, the inaugural RHS Badminton Flower Show will make its dazzling debut at the magnificent Badminton Estate in South Gloucestershire, stepping into the spotlight as the new summer showcase in place of the much-loved Hampton Court Flower Show.  Set within the grounds of one of England’s most prestigious country estates, this exciting new event promises a vibrant celebration of summer gardening at its finest. Wander through the imaginative Pocket Planting Gardens, discover age-old techniques in the RHS Artisan Gardens, and admire breathtaking seasonal displays from more than 80 specialist nurseries.  Soak in the atmosphere beside the estate’s tranquil lake, enjoy live music, watch expert demonstrations on the main stage, and pick up practical tips in the Grow Your Own area. The Badminton Estate—home to the Duke and Duchess of Beaufort—is steeped in heritage and elegance. Best known for hosting the world-famous Badminton Horse Trials, the estate has also served as a backdrop for popular films and series including The Gentlemen and Bridgerton. It was here, in the 19th century, that the sport of badminton was first played—adding a sporting legacy to its cultural richness.  As part of this delightful journey, we’ll also explore the charming Cotswold villages nearby. With their honey-hued stone cottages, winding lanes, and postcard-perfect scenery, these villages offer a timeless glimpse into rural English life.  You’ll stay at the Holiday Inn Express Cheltenham Town Centre, ideally located for discovering everything the elegant spa town of Cheltenham has to offer.  Whether you’re drawn by your love of gardening, passion for history, or a desire to experience the beauty of the English countryside, this unforgettable tour promises inspiration, relaxation, and a touch of summer magic.
