Blackpool offers something for all age groups. Known as the UK’s capital of fun from September, the world-famous Blackpool Illuminations attracts thousands to the seaside resort.  Staying at The Ruskin Hotel, centrally located and offering comfortable rooms, home cooked food, and nightly entertainment.  Stroll along one of the three piers, travel to the top of Blackpool Tower or enjoy the fun in one of the many entertainment venues in the resort.

The UK government has introduced new legal requirements for non-British or non-Irish Passport holders traveling on ferries between the UK and the Rep of Ireland. If you hold any other government passport (irrespective of where you are currently resident) you must provide Travel Solutions with the following information:

This information must be supplied at least 30 days before travel, or at the time of booking if you are travelling within 30 days.

Failure to supply this information will mean you will not be able to travel and you will be asked to leave the tour (full cancellation charges will apply).

The Ruskin Hotel is situated within Blackpool town centre and is only a stone’s throw from the Blackpool’s main attractions, including Winter Gardens, Blackpool Tower, Sea Life Centre, and Madam Tussauds. The renowned Roly’s Bar is open daily for guests alongside our 220-seater Cabaret Lounge with live entertainment every day. All bedrooms are dressed to a high standard with furnishings to compliment the room decoration.

Itinerary

Day 1 Meet your coach at your selected joining point and travel to Belfast for the early morning ferry crossing to Cairnryan. On arrival in Cairnryan, continue your journey to Blackpool with a comfort stop en-route, arriving at your hotel late afternoon in time to freshen up before dinner.

Day 2 After a leisurely breakfast enjoy a day relaxing in Blackpool or why not visit Blackpool tower, the famous tower Ballroom, Madame Tussauds, or the Grand Theatre with many more to choose from.

Day 3 Enjoy a second day to explore Blackpool at your leisure and explore all this sea-side resort has to offer.

After dinner meet your coach for an evening drive along the spectacular ‘Illuminations’ seafront, see hundreds of illuminated figures and themes, as the famous Golden Mile comes alive in a kaleidoscope of colour.

Day 4 Today join your coach as we head to spend the day visiting at the Trafford Centre, enjoy some time to explore all it has to offer before rejoining your coach and returning to your hotel in Blackpool for dinner and entertainment.

Day 5 This morning after breakfast and checking out (departure time will be confirmed by your driver guide), depart for home, travelling north into Scotland with comfort stops en-route before joining the evening ferry crossing to Belfast.  On arrival, you return to your original joining point.
