Visit Ireland last working mill – Foxford Woollen Mill and board the Killary Fjord Boat Tour and admire the unspoilt splendour of The Killary – Ireland’s only fjord. Itinerary

Day 1 Meet your coach at your selected pickup point. Sit back and relax as we make our way to County Mayo. We’ll stop off in Sligo town en route with some time to explore before continuing the journey, arriving late afternoon at the Ellison Hotel, Castlebar, for check-in, with time to relax and freshen up before dinner.

Day 2 Today after breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), join your coach as we travel to Leenane to join the Killary Fjord Boat Tour—Ireland’s only Fjord. Enjoy a 90-minute cruise on board an all-weather luxury catamaran. Cruise the 14-kilometre inlet of the Killary Fjord and enjoy panoramic views of Connemara. Admire some of the finest scenery in the West of Ireland. Afterwards, re-join your coach and travel back to Castlebar for some free time to explore the town before dinner.

Day 3 This morning, after breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), join your coach to travel to Galway City. To start the day, enjoy a 2-hour city tour by coach and walking. This is the best way to explore and experience Galway City. Your knowledgeable local tour guide will show you the history and culture of this vibrant mediaeval “City of the ribes.” During the tour, gain an insight into what Galway is all about. Your guide will captivate you with stories of Galway past and present, all delivered in an engaging and often humorous way. Afterwards, explore Galway at leisure; maybe visit the winding lanes of the Latin Quarter, which are bursting at the seams with cosy little pubs alive with music. Spend some time wandering around the city and uncovering its best-kept secrets. Treat yourself to pure Irish ice cream at Cafe Linnalla, looking over stunning views of Galway Bay. Afterwards, re-join your coach and return to your hotel.

Day 4 After breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), join your coach as we travel to spend the day touring Connemara National Park, one of the wildest and most beautiful regions in Ireland. Sit back and relax; admire the stunning scenery as we tour Connemara and visit Kylemore Abbey, the picturesque monastic home of the Irish Benedictine nuns, famous for its miniature cathedral, Victorian walled gardens, and Gothic church. Late afternoon, re-join your coach (departure time and point will be confirmed by your tour manager) and travel back to your hotel.

Day 5 This morning, after a leisurely breakfast and checking out (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), join your coach and travel to enjoy a visit and have a guided tour of one of the last working mills in Ireland, Foxford Woollen Mills. Afterwards, re-join your coach as we continue the journey home, stopping in Enniskillen for a comfort stop before returning you to your original joining point.
