Day 2 This morning, board your coach for a journey into Ireland’s rich past with a visit to the iconic Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. Begin your day by exploring the grand halls, spiral staircases, and centuries-old chambers of Bunratty Castle, one of the most complete and authentically restored medieval fortresses in Ireland. Next, wander through the Folk Park, a living history museum that brings 19th-century Ireland to life. Day 4 After breakfast this morning (your tour manager will confirm the departure time), board your coach for a day filled with history, horticulture, and heritage. Your first stop is the enchanting Vandeleur Walled Garden in Kilrush. Tucked behind centuries-old stone walls, this beautifully restored garden is a hidden gem bursting with vibrant plant life, rare trees, and whimsical features. Towering above the Atlantic Ocean, these dramatic sea cliffs offer awe-inspiring views and a true sense of nature’s raw beauty. Board your coach and begin the journey home, with one final stop to enjoy along the way. We’ll pause in the vibrant town of Athlone, nestled on the banks of the River Shannon and steeped in history. Here, you’ll have free time to explore at your leisure perhaps take a tour of the impressive Athlone Castle (admission payable locally), browse the many shops and boutiques, or indulge in a delicious lunch at one of the town’s acclaimed eateries. After soaking up the charm and culture of Athlone, rejoin your coach for the final leg of the journey, returning to your original pick-up point with wonderful memories of your time in Ireland.
