Itinerary

Day 1: Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point. Sit back and relax as we make our journey to Waterford, stopping en-route travel to visit the famous Irish National Stud and the adjacent Japanese Gardens, which are a joy to wander. Nowhere better symbolises all that is great about County Kildare, the beating heart of Ireland’s thoroughbred industry, than the stud, a unique attraction of outstanding natural beauty that is home to some of the most magnificent horses and sumptuous gardens to be found anywhere in the world. Afterwards re-join your coach to continue the journey to our hotel in Waterford arriving at late afternoon. After check-in enjoy some free time to explore Waterford, unpack, freshen up and relax before dinner.

Day 2: Today after breakfast, meet your guide at your hotel for a walking tour of Waterford. During the 60-minute tour learn the history of the city. Afterwards enjoy some free time to explore the city at leisure. This afternoon enjoy, a visit to Waterford Crystal for a guided factory tour before enjoying the rest of the day at your leisure in Waterford.

Day 3: After breakfast travel to visit the medieval town of Kilkenny, Ireland’s most historic and compact city. Visit one of the most recognisable landmarks in Ireland, the impressive Kilkenny Castle which dominates the city. Afterward enjoy some free time to explore all Kilkenny has to offer at your leisure. Late afternoon, re-join your coach to return to your hotel in Waterford.

Day 4: This morning after breakfast and check-out departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), say farewell to Waterford and join your coach for the journey home, stopping to visit the Lullymore Heritage and Discovery Park in West Kildare. The visitor attraction is located on a mineral island surrounded by peatlands with panoramic views of the famous Bog of Allen. Afterwards re-join your coach to continue the journey returning to your original joining point early evening.
