Itinerary
Day 1 Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point and travel to Belfast to join the early morning ferry crossing to Cairnryan. On arrival in Cairnryan, we’ll travel to Glasgow. A city that comes alive with fun and laughter at this time of year – explore the twinkling chalets spread out in George Square and after all that browsing, have a rest in one of the authentic German bars and relax over a mulled wine or hot chocolate. Spoil yourself at one of the seasonal chalets overflowing with original present ideas, or indulge in a tasty treat such as bratwurst, hog roast or crispy duck. Later re-join your coach (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) and make your way to your hotel in Stirling. On arrival check-in and enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 2Today after breakfast (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) travel to Edinburgh to visit the Christmas markets – get into the festive spirit. One of the best places to be during the festive season – wander the cobbled streets and take in the sounds of laughter and sights of twinkling lights from the stalls or enjoy a drink in front of a roaring log fire in one of the many cosy pubs. Enjoy the great shopping, unbeatable festive atmosphere, and iconic views from the top of the Big Wheel. Have a go on the old-fashioned carousel in Princes Street Gardens, browse the stalls in search of that perfect Christmas gift or just soak up the buckets of atmosphere. Later meet your coach (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) and make your way back to your hotel in Stirling to enjoy the rest of the evening at leisure.
Day 3 This morning after breakfast and checking out (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager), enjoy some free time in Stirling at your leisure to explore the city or shop. Then join your coach as we say farewell to Stirling and travel to visit Dumfries house, one of Britain’s most beautiful stately homes. Set in 2,000 acres, this stunning Estate and house has something for everyone. The house is beautifully decorated for the Christmas season, admire the decorations as you enjoy a festive house tour followed by tea/coffee and mince pies. Afterwards rejoin your coach as we continue the journey to Cairnryan to join the evening crossing back to Belfast. On arrival, you return to your original starting point.
