Day 1 – Arrival & Embark on NCL Dawn On arrival at Dublin Airport Terminal 2, make your way to the Aer Lingus check-in desk area before proceeding through security to your departure gate. On arrival in Lisbon, after collecting your luggage, make your way to Barcelona cruise terminal where your cabin on the Norwegian Dawn awaits.

Once onboard explore the ship and all it has to offer. Why not take the opportunity to book any excursions or Broadway shows you may like to do during the week. (Any NCL excursions booked are at an additional cost)

Day 2 – Portimao, Portugal Located on the sun-kissed coastline of Algarve, Portimão is a colourful city with a bustling waterfront and a charming city centre decorated with parks and plazas. History buff? The Museum of Portimão traces human settlement in the area as far back as the Roman and Islamic periods. And if you want to be one with nature, we recommend taking a scenic boat ride up the coast and along the Rio Arade, where you will enjoy the beautiful views and hidden caves to discover.

Day 3 – Seville (Cadiz), Spain Indulge in the culture of Andalusia’s capital of Seville and visit its stunning Cathedral, one of the largest in the world. Stop and taste the tapas and smell the orange blossoms during a stroll down the winding Medieval lanes. But be sure you leave time to visit the breathtaking Plaza de Espana.

Day 4 – Motril, Spain Motril is a magnificent Spanish gem on the Mediterranean coast. The relaxing sands of Playa de Torrenueva are a great place to spend a sunny day. For some inland exploring, head to the Cueva Del Capitan for a fantastic nature hike. There’s also plenty of history waiting to be experienced in the city. Stop by the Santuario de Nuestra Señora de la Cabeza to see a 17th-century church surrounded by incredible panoramic views. Then head to the Pre-industrial Sugar Cane Museum to learn all about the region’s staple crop.

Day 5 – Melilla, Spain Melilla is a captivating blend of Spanish and Moroccan influences that promises a unique cultural experience. Begin your exploration in the vibrant Plaza de España, where you can admire the stunning architecture and enjoy a leisurely coffee. Wander through the historic fortress, Melilla la Vieja, offering breathtaking views and a glimpse into the city’s rich past. Discover the diverse array of museums, including the Museo de Arqueología e Historia, to deepen your understanding of this fascinating enclave. Don’t miss the chance to indulge in the local cuisine, where Mediterranean flavors meet Moroccan spices in a culinary delight.

Day 6 – Ibiza, Spain Famed for its vibrant nightlife and stunning beaches, Ibiza is a Mediterranean gem. By day, bask in the sun on pristine shores or explore quaint villages and historic sites. As the sun sets, the island transforms into a haven for party-goers with world-renowned clubs and lively bars. Whether you’re seeking relaxation or excitement, Ibiza offers a perfect blend of both, making it an unforgettable destination.

Day 7 – Valencia, Spain Begin your day by exploring the historic Old Town, where the stunning Valencia Cathedral and the bustling Plaza de la Reina await. Wander through the vibrant Central Market to sample local delicacies and immerse yourself in the city’s culinary delights. In the afternoon, visit the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, a breathtaking architectural complex offering fascinating museums and an aquarium. Wrap up your visit with a leisurely stroll along the picturesque Malvarrosa Beach, where you can unwind and savor the beautiful Mediterranean sunset.

Day 8 – Palma (Majorca), Spain On the one hand, this city, founded by the Romans some 2,100 years ago, is replete with (literally) wall-to-wall history and architectural splendor. You can journey back in time and wander the mazes of alleyways and cobblestone paths that surround the Gothic cathedral. Day 9 – Disembark & Return Home All too soon you find yourself in Barcelona. Please do not leave luggage outside cabin on the last evening. Make your own way back to Barcelona Airport for your return flight to Dublin.
