Classic Jordan and Beach Tour – 7 Nights

DAY 1

On arrival at the airport, please make your way to the check-in area for your flight. Once you have checked-in and received your boarding passes proceed through security to your departure gate. On arrival in Amman meet your coach transfer to your Hotel. Amman is the capital city of Jordan with its captivating blend of ancient history and modern vitality. Nestled within a hilly landscape, this vibrant metropolis serves as the beating heart of the country, exuding an enticing mix of tradition and progress.

DAY 2

After breakfast, drive north of Amman and visit Jerash. Later in the day, return to Amman for a city tour, visiting the Citadel and the Roman Amphitheatre in the old town. The warmth of Jordanian hospitality is evident in the genuine smiles of its people, who often take pride in sharing their traditions and stories. The city’s streets pulse with life, especially during the evening when locals and visitors gather to savour a cup of aromatic Arabic coffee or enjoy shisha in inviting cafes. Then return to the hotel for overnight.

DAY 3

9.00 AM – After breakfast, head South of Amman to visit St. George’s Church in Madaba which houses the famous sixth century mosaic map of the Holy Land. Then continue to Mount Nebo to visit the Byzantine church overlooking the Jordan Valley. A short distance away on the way to Petra, visit a World Heritage Site “Umm Al Rasas” which has unique mosaics and a Stylite tower. Late in the afternoon, arrive at Petra and check in at one of the hotels in Wadi Mousa (Petra) for the night.

DAY 4

7.00 AM- A full day is dedicated to visit Jordan’s Jewel -Petra- one of the new 7 wonders of the world. After a three-hour drive, the tour starts with a short horseback ride, then you a walk through the “Siq” to uncover the secrets of this ancient Nabatean city. Late afternoon, drive Southeast to Wadi Rum to explore the one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world for 2 hours in a 4X4 pickup. After the tour, drive to one of the camp sites for the night.

DAY 5

9.00 AM – After breakfast, travel to Aqaba, a coastal gem nestled at the southern tip of Jordan, it’s a haven where the vibrant culture of the Middle East meets the tranquil beauty of the Red Sea. Its shores are graced by a series of breath-taking beaches that invite to revel in both relaxation and aquatic adventure. Aqaba’s warm and inviting atmosphere extends beyond its stunning landscapes. The city’s streets are lined with bustling markets, where vibrant colours, fragrant spices, and intricate handicrafts awaken the senses. Overnight – Aqaba.

DAY 6

Relax and enjoy all that Aqaba has to offer. The Red Sea’s azure waters, clear as crystal, provide an idyllic setting for many activities (all payable locally) snorkelling and diving, allowing you to explore an underwater world teeming with vibrant coral reefs and an array of marine life. Sun-seekers and water enthusiasts can soak up the Jordanian sun while partaking in water sports (payable locally), from jet skiing and parasailing to glass-bottom boat rides that unveil the hidden treasures beneath the waves. As the sun sets, the beaches come alive with the aromas of seaside cuisine, with beachfront restaurants offering delectable dishes that showcase the rich flavours of the region. Overnight – Aqaba.

DAY 7

After breakfast, Head North to Amman along the Wadi Araba you will stop at the Dead Sea located at the lowest point on earth. Here there will be time to enjoy floating in its therapeutic saline water. In the late afternoon, continue to Amman for overnight.

DAY 8

This morning check-out of your hotel and join your transfer back to Amman airport for your return journey back home.
