Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point and travel to Belfast to join the early morning ferry crossing to Cairnryan. On arrival in Cairnryan, we’ll travel to Glasgow to enjoy some free time to explore before travelling onto our hotel located at the foot of the Arrochar Alps on the shores of beautiful Loch Long arriving late afternoon. Check-in, relax and freshen up before dinner.
Today after breakfast (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) join your coach for a scenic drive along the ‘Arrochar Alps’, then the shorelines of both Loch Fyne and the Holy Loch, before arriving in the seaside resort of Dunoon with free time to explore. Afterwards return over the Kyles of Bute, affording panoramic views across the Firth to the Isles of Bute and Arran. This morning (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) travel along the shoreline of Loch Long reaching the coastal town of Helensburgh, with time to take in the views across the Firth of Clyde. Travel onto Balloch, on Loch Lomond to enjoy a 1-hour cruise on the most famous of Lochs, time free for lunch and some shopping at Loch Lomond Shores. We make our return to the hotel as we travel along the shoreline of Loch Lomond with a stop at Luss, which is a very picturesque Scottish lochside village, and location for many TV shoots.
Today after breakfast (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) visit Inveraray, located in a picturesque setting on Loch Fyne. A maritime town, with its old gaol which housed prisoners before transporting them to the colonies during the Highland Clearances. Next to the town is the impressive Duke of Argyll’s Inveraray Castle, a visit to the castle and gardens is included. Afterwards we continue with the Highland Loop as we drive towards Loch Awe with Kilchurn Castle in view. The day continues through the Highland Glens with their rising mountains and the northern shoreline of Loch Lomond before arriving back at your hotel.
This morning after breakfast and checking out (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), travel down the shores of Loch Lomond. We stop at Culzean Castle, one of Scotland’s most popular visitor attractions with free time to explore the gardens before continuing the journey to the port of Cairnryan to join the evening ferry crossing to Belfast. On arrival, you return to your original joining point.
