Start the festive period with a tour showing you the best of North Wales from your hotel base in Caernarfon. Staying at the festively decorated Celtic Royal Hotel in the heart of the town only a short walk from Caernarfon’s famous Castle. Caernarfon’s is a bustling market town with a busy port, as well as magnificent views over the Menai Strait, the channel that separates Anglesey from mainland Wales.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Meet your coach at your selected joining point and travel to Dublin for the morning ferry crossing to Holyhead. On arrival in Holyhead, we continue our journey to our hotel in Caernarfon stopping in Cathedral City of Bangor for some free time before arriving at your hotel late afternoon. On arrival at the Celtic Royal Hotel check-in and relax, freshen up before dinner and an evening of live entertainment.

DAY 2

Today is free to explore our base of Historic Caernarfon at leisure. Many of the town’s attractions are within walking distance of our hotel’s central location. Perhaps visit the mighty castle (payable locally) or browse for festive gifts in the town’s stores. In the afternoon return to the hotel to enjoy Tea/Coffee and Mince Pies. After dinner tonight, we have a quiz and bingo for entertainment.

DAY 3

Today after breakfast (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) travel to Anglesey making a stop at Llanfairpwllgwyngyll – home to the famous James Pringle complex at Llanfair PG. Later we travel to the attractive yachting resort of Beaumaris where you are free to explore at leisure until we travel back to the hotel. This evening enjoy a Christmas dinner in the hotel.

DAY 4

After breakfast, we journey to historic Conwy where you have some time to explore the beautiful town at your own pace. The highlight of the town is its magnificent castle that offers spectacular views over the town. Return to the hotel for dinner and an evening of live entertainment.

DAY 5

This morning after breakfast before checking out (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager), join your coach as we depart with fond memories to travel to the port of Holyhead with a comfort stop en-route before joining the afternoon ferry crossing to Dublin. On arrival, you return to your original starting point.
