DAY 01 (GROUP 02 – 10th APRIL) – AIRPORT / NEGOMBO
Once you arrive in Sri Lanka, you will have to collect your luggage, clear customs come to a public arrival lounge, where you will meet your chauffeur guide holding a signboard with your name on it.
If you can’t locate your chauffeur guide, please call (+94 76 154 7559) and the local ground handling agent will assist you.
Drive to Negombo. (approx.: 40 minutes) and check-in to the hotel.

DAY 02 (GROUP 02 – 11th APRIL) – NEGOMBO / SIGIRIYA
Have a breakfast at the Hotel and leave for Sigiriya. (Approx.: 3-5 hrs.)
En-route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage.
About 90 KM from Colombo towards Kandy is the home to some 100 or more elephant orphans. A place you will really enjoy and never forget. Most orphans are accustomed to their curious human visitors and are harmless. The Orphanage is open from 8.30am to 5.45pm.
Proceed to Sigiriya and check-in to the hotel.

DAY 03 (GROUP 02 – 12th APRIL) – SIGIRIYA
Start the day with an early morning visit to Sigiriya Lion Rock to witness the sunrise.
The second of our World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka is the Ancient City of Sigiriya. This predates the archaeological evidence of religious communities living in the area in at least the third century BC. It was built for King Kasyapa, the son of the previous king by a non-royal consort after he killed his father and seized the throne from his half-brother and heir. After his brother reclaimed the throne, he reinstated
Anuradhapura as the capital city and left Sigiriya to the monks. The city became abandoned until colonial archaeologists found the site in the early 1800s. There are still large parts of the ancient city awaiting excavation.

Come back to the Hotel and get your breakfast.
Afterwards, you can visit Habarana Village Tour with Lunch.
In this village Tour you can get a chance to go on an oxen cart ride and experience the world from the view of a village farmer. Have a relaxing catamaran safari through a calm lake. Walk through the golden fields ripe with their harvest of paddy. Watch an enjoyable traditional cooking demonstration that teaches you the basics of Sri Lankan cuisine. Delight your taste buds with a home-cooked lunch; made over a wood fire and served on fragrant lotus leaves placed over woven trays. Enjoy the life of a Sri Lankan villager, just this day.
Later in the evening, drive back to the Hotel.

DAY 04 (GROUP 02 – 13th APRIL) – SIGIRIYA > KANDY
Get your breakfast at the Hotel.
Leave for Kandy, the cultural capital of Sri Lanka. (approx.: 3 hrs.)
En-route visit Matale Herbal and Spice Garden with an Ayurvedic Head and Shoulder Massage. It is the environment possesses excellent conditions for growing cinnamon, vanilla, nutmeg, peppercorn, and other flavorful delights. Learn about the process of growing these natural products using ecologically friendly methods. At the end of your visit, stop in the souvenir shop to purchase some exotic spices from the source.

Proceed to Kandy, Visit to the Temple of the Tooth Relic.
The Temple of the Sacred Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) was originally built by the Kandyan Kings in 1595, to house and honor the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha. Attracting crowds of white-clad pilgrims bearing lotus flowers for means of worship, the Maligawa features a myriad of intricate carvings that speak volumes of the architectural values of Kandy. Today the City of Kandy is a UNESCO World Heritage Site in part because of the Temple of the tooth relic.
Afterwards, Do the Kandy city tour and see the beauty of the Kandy city.

Experience the charm of Kandy on a city tour that highlights its rich culture. Visit the Kandy Art and Craft Shop for unique handmade treasures, then explore the Gem Shop to admire the stunning array of local gems. In the evening, witness the Cultural Dance Show in Kandy.

hour-long extravaganza as some of the most popular art forms of the island take to the stage. Be wowed by fire dancers and sword dancers. Watch the colorful Kandyan dancers take to the air to the thrumming primal beat of the drums.

DAY 05 (GROUP 02 – 14th APRIL) – KANDY > NUWARA ELIYA
Afterwards, leave for Nuwara Eliya. (approx.: 3 hrs.)
En-route witness, Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple in Ramboda. This temple, set on a beautiful hilltop, is a key stop on the Ramayana trail in Sri Lanka. It is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, who is believed to have rested here during his search for Seetha. The temple offers both historical and spiritual significance, along with
breathtaking views. If you visit on a full moon Poya day, you can experience special rituals and celebrations in honor of Lord Hanuman.
You may have a quick stop at the Ramboda Waterfalls. It is 109 m (358 ft) high and 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and 729th highest waterfall in the world. It is situated in Pussellawa area, on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass. It formed by Panna Oya which is a tributary of Kothmale Oya. Altitude of the falls is 945 m
(3,100 ft) above sea level.

En-route Visit a Tea Factory to learn the Ceylon tea process. (You can experience free tea tasting)
Learn about tea production in Sri Lanka by visiting a tea plantation and factory. You’ll start in the fields, where tea is cultivated, and then head to the factory to see the process of withering, rolling, oxidizing, and drying the leaves. These steps require both heavy machinery and skilled workers. The factory often uses
old machines that have been around since before the industrial revolution. At the end of the tour, you’ll usually have a chance to taste the tea.

DAY 06 (GROUP 02 – 15th APRIL) – NUWARA ELIYA
Breakfast at the Hotel.
Do the Nuwara Eliya city tour with Gregory Lake in the evening. Nuwara Eliya has the coolest climate in Sri Lanka and it’s called Little England. Visit the highland city that was the premium holiday resort town of the British in the 19th and early 20th centuries. Enjoy walking through the streets with their pretty little cottages,
quaint villas and beautiful mansions. Make a memory in the old red-bricked post office as you purchase a postcard to take home or send to your friends. Relax at on the shores of Lake Gregory.
Visit Seetha Amman Kovil followed by a visit to a Tea Factory and Tea Garden.

Seetha Amman Temple, or Seetha Eliya Seetha Amman Thirukkovil, also known as Ashok Vatika Sita Temple, is an ancient Vaishnavite Hindu temple located in the Nuwara Eliya District. The temple’s folklore is deeply connected to the Hindu epic, the Ramayana. According to the epic, after Sita was abducted by King Ravana
of Lanka, she was brought to this location.

DAY 07 (GROUP 02 – 16th APRIL) – NUWARA ELIYA / ELLA / UDAWALAWA
Take your Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Udawalawa. (approx.: 4-5hrs.)
During your time in Ella this Morning, explore the amazing Little Adam’s peak which is a 30 min hike and then descend to Nine Arch Bridge.
Little Adams Peak whether considering the word ‘Little’, it is named after the sacred Adams Peak (Sri Pada where the foot print of Lord Buddha is preserved) regarding the similarity between the two mountains.
Therefore, the mountain was called as Little Adams Peak. “Punchi Sri Pada” is another name for this peak. It is 1141 m in height. Little Adam’s Peak attracts many travelers who come to Sri Lanka. Gradually with an easy hike up to the mountain of Little Adams Peak you can consummation a worth panoramic view. You have to walk through lush green tea plantations, waterfalls and paddy fields while enjoying the sceneries.

Visit the Nine Arches Bridge. This is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. The construction of the bridge is generally attributed to a local Ceylonese builder, P. K. Appuhami, in consultation with British engineers. The chief designer and project manager of the ‘upcountry railway line of Ceylon’ project was D. J. Wimalasurendra, a distinguished Ceylonese engineer and inventor.

DAY 08 (GROUP 02 – 17th APRIL) – UDAWALAWA

Evening half day safari game drive in Udawalawa national park.
Udawalawe National Park is one of Sri Lanka’s most popular wildlife parks, famous for its large population of wild Asian elephants and beautiful open landscapes surrounding the Udawalawe Reservoir. Established in 1972, the park is home to many animals including buffalo, deer, crocodiles, monkeys, and a wide variety of birds, making it a top destination for safari tours and nature lovers. Visitors usually explore the park in safari jeeps during the early morning or evening when wildlife is most active, and many also visit the nearby
Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home, which cares for orphaned elephant calves before releasing them back into the wild.

DAY 09 (GROUP 02 – 18th APRIL) – UDAWALAWA > KALUTARA
Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Kalutara. (approx.: 03.5hrs. drive)
En-route, Visit the Dutch Fort in Galle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a well-preserved 17th-century fortress. Built by the Portuguese and fortified by the Dutch, it showcases a blend of European and South Asian architecture. The fort features cobblestone streets, colonial buildings, and landmarks like the Galle Lighthouse and Dutch Reformed Church. Today, it’s a lively area with cafes, boutiques, and stunning ocean views.

Afterwards, continue to Balapitiya and enjoy Madu River Boat Safari.
Traverse the dark and dangerous caverns formed by the thick mangrove forests; interspersed with bright open stretches of water. Learn more about mangroves and their positive effect on ecology. Get a chance to see crocodiles, water snakes, tree snakes and wild boars in their natural habitat. Watch the cormorants; storks and many other avian life hunts for their prey in swift flow of Madu River. Visit the old Buddhist temple on one of the islands that dot the river liberally. Stop by another of the islands; which are the source of the cinnamon industry of Sri Lanka.

In completion, visit a Turtle Hatchery.
Visit the Turtle Hatchery on the Southwestern coast of Sri Lanka. Learn more about the five endangered sea turtle species that come to the shores of Sri Lanka to nest. Learn how the turtle Care Program helps protect the nests until they hatch and increases the chances of survival for the babies. Get a chance to see, touch and feed baby turtles; or even injured adult turtles that the Turtle Hatchery cares for.
