Join us this Festive season as we explore delightful Yorkshire and Harrogate. There’s nothing more magical at Christmas than a little seasonal sparkle lighting up the dark evenings. From the famous tree lights on the Stray in Harrogate to Christmas decorations on our high streets, there are some amazing events around the district so you can enjoy the colour and sparkle of this festive season. Staying at the Doubletree Majestic hotel, perfectly located for exploring Harrogate and its market towns. During the tour enjoy afternoon tea at the famous Betty’s Tea Room by day then a thrilling journey through Harlow Carr’s winter Illuminations by night. A magical after-dark spectacle of lights that the whole family can enjoy. Explore the beauty of the garden as illuminations light your way on the Glow trail. Iconic features are adorned with festive lights. There’s a spectacular ‘field of fire’ on the main lawn and selfie opportunities through the gilded frame on the sun border.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point and travel to Belfast to join the early morning ferry crossing to Cairnryan. On arrival in Cairnryan, travel to your hotel in Harrogate with a comfort stop enroute. Arrive at your hotel last afternoon for check-in and enjoy some free time to relax and freshen up before dinner.

DAY 2

Today after breakfast (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager), join your coach as we travel to visit the market town of Skipton, before visiting Bolton Abbey – lies in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales near Skipton, a must-visit attraction in Yorkshire. Highlights include incredible views, historic ruins, 60 ancient stepping stones, and over 80 miles of scenic walks to suit all ages and abilities – whatever the season and then to the RHS Harlow Carr Winter Illuminations. This evening you’ll see the garden in breathtaking beauty as the beautiful illuminations light the way on the spectacular trail. Afterwards re-join your coach and return to your hotel for a late dinner.

DAY 3

This morning after a leisurely breakfast and checking out (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager), enjoy some free time in Harrogate before joining your coach as we make are way back to Cairnryan port with a comfort stop enroute before joining the evening ferry crossing back to Belfast. On arrival, you return to your original starting point.
