Set in the idyllic countryside, the 3* Rob Roy Hotel is the gateway to the glorious Trossachs and set in Scotland’s National Park. Named after the legendary local folk hero Rob Roy McGregor, the hotel offers excellent food, friendly staff and is great value for money. Itinerary

DAY 1

Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point and travel to Belfast to join the mid-morning ferry crossing to Cairnryan. On arrival in Cairnryan, we’ll travel to our hotel in Aberfoyle making a comfort stop enroute. On arrival check-in and enjoy some time to relax and freshen up before enjoying a fabulous 3 course dinner in the ballroom.

DAY 2

Start your day with a leisurely breakfast, before joining your coach (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) first stop is in Aberfoyle for a short time before travelling to the incredible city of Stirling, also known as the ‘Gateway to the Highlands’. This city is situated at the point where lowland Scotland and the highlands meet. While there, take the time to explore the Old Town and the Victorian Stirling Arcade, and make sure to visit the National Wallace Monument. Afterward, hop back on your coach to continue the journey to visit the Kelpies the largest equine sculptures in the world, standing at 100ft tall. before returning to your hotel in Aberfoyle to relax before dinner. This evening Christmas dinner will be served in the Ballroom followed by dancing and maybe a little treat on the table for those who have been good!

DAY 3

This morning after breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) join your coach as we tour the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park. Start the day with a visit to Callander ‘Gateway to the Highlands’, a small town in the council area of Stirling, situated on the River Teith. The town is located in the historic county of Perthshire and is a popular tourist stop to and from the Highlands. Next, we will enjoy a cruise on Loch Katrine, this is always an unforgettable experience as it is one of Scotland’s hidden gems. View the unspoilt nature and hills around the loch from the comfort of your vessel. Afterwards we will continue our journey through the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park as we visit Loch Lomond Shores and Balloch the enchanting village on the foot of the Loch Lomond before returning to our hotel in Aberfoyle. Enjoy some time to relax and freshen up before dinner. Tonight join us in the ballroom to celebrate the New Year with a 3-course dinner, Glass of Buck Fizz and live music.

DAY 4

After breakfast (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) join your coach as we travel to spend the day in the City of Glasgow. Take some time to visit one of the city’s attractions, do some shopping or visit the Christmas markets. A city that comes alive with fun and laughter at this time of year. Explore the twinkling chalets spread out in George Square and after all that browsing, have a rest in one of the authentic German bars and relax over a mulled wine or hot chocolate. Spoil yourself at one of the seasonal chalets overflowing with original present ideas, or indulge in a tasty treat such as bratwurst, hog roast or crispy duck. Later re-join your coach (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) and make your way to your hotel in Aberfoyle. Tonight enjoy another fabulous 3 course Dinner.

DAY 5

This morning enjoy an leisurely breakfast before checking out and saying farewell to Aberfoyle (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager), join your coach as we travel to the port of Cairnryan with a comfort stop en-route before joining the afternoon ferry crossing to Belfast. On arrival, you return to your original starting point.
