With its rugged mountainous peaks and scenic Lakeland valleys it provides a timeless rural character. Staying at The Heights Hotel, conveniently situated just 5 minutes from Killarney. Killarney is one of Irelands most scenic tourist towns bursting with atmosphere and personality, there’s great shops, restaurants, pubs and friendly locals. During the tour some of the highlights will be a tour of the Dingle Peninsula, visit Muckross House & Gardens, take a lake cruise on Lough Leane and explore The Ring of Kerry.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point. Sit back and relax as we make our way to Killarney making comfort stops en-route. Arriving late afternoon at The Heights Hotel Killarney. Check-in, relax and freshen up before dinner.

DAY 2

Today after breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) join your coach first stopping in the town of Tralee, known for the Rose of Tralee International Festival. Afterwards we will tour the beautiful Dingle Peninsula, admire the spectacular views, breath-taking cliffs, and hidden bays before enjoying some free time in the picturesque harbour town of Dingle. Later return to the hotel to relax and freshen up before dinner.

DAY 3

This morning we depart after breakfast (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager). Today will be the highlight of the tour for many touring the famous Ring of Kerry. Along the way you will experience the captivating beauty and breath-taking scenery that makes up this unmissable area of Ireland. On the return journey travel through the famed Molls Gap, stunning Ladies’ View and Killarney National Park before arriving back at the hotel late afternoon.

DAY 4

After Breakfast we depart (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) join your coach as we travel to enjoy a boat trip on Lough Leane. Cruise the beautiful Lakes of Killarney with the M.V Pride of the Lakes. Setting sail from the 15th century Ross Castle. We will then make a stop at Muckross House situated in the scenic Killarney National Park, with time to relax and enjoy the magnificent gardens and visit the craft centre and Garden restaurant. Later we depart for Killarney the tourist capital of County Kerry. Mingle with visitors from around the world and soak up the atmosphere of this popular town. Later meet your coach (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) and make your way back to your hotel.

DAY 5

This morning after breakfast and checking out (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager), we bid farewell to Killarney and join the coach for the journey home. On the way we’ll stop off to visit the Irish National Stud and Gardens located in the heart of the Thoroughbred County, Co. Kildare. Here you will enter the land of horses, trees, gardens and celebrate the wonders of nature. Afterwards re-join your coach to continue the journey home before returning to our original joining point.
