Itinerary

Step on board NCL Escape for an unforgettable summer cruise of the Med!

DAY 1 – Arrival & Barcelona

On arrival at Dublin Airport terminal 2, proceed to the Aer Lingus bag-drop desk (where there will be a Travel Solutions representative), and through security to your departure gate. On arrival in Barcelona, after collecting your luggage, exit into the arrivals hall. Make your own way to Barcelona cruise terminal for check-in for the Norwegian Escape.

Once onboard explore the ship and all it has to offer. Why not take the opportunity to book any excursions or Broadway shows you may like to do during the week. (Any NCL excursions booked are at an additional cost)

DAY 2 – Cannes

Drive up Suquet Hill for a view of the city, sea and Lerins Island – fabulous dahling! How many rich and famous can you spot, walk the palm-lined promenade de la Croisette and count. The French Riviera at its best…the International Film Festival calls this home. Explore more of Cannes on a European cruise!

DAY 3/4 – Livorno (Florence/Pisa)

How lucky to visit the Tuscan region, Florence and Pisa, resplendent in art and history. DAY 5 – Rome (Civitavecchia)

DAY 6 – Naples (Pompeii)

Cruise to Naples, located on Italy’s stunning Amalfi coast, a city rich in history. A tour around Naples’ grand piazzas, cathedrals and castles in the old centre will take you back centuries. DAY 7 – Cagliari, Sardinia

DAY 8 – Palma, Majorca

On the one hand, this city, founded by the Romans some 2,100 years ago, is replete with (literally) wall-to-wall history and architectural splendor. You can journey back in time and wander the mazes of alleyways and cobblestone paths that surround the Gothic cathedral. DAY 9 – Ibiza

With its youthful spirit and natural beauty, the Balearic island of Ibiza (or “Eivissa,” as it’s known locally) is perfect for those who love the outdoors. The beach coastline is majestically rugged, and the hills are covered with olive and fig trees. Two of the most popular beaches are Talamanca and Ses Figueretes. The capital of Ciudad de Ibiza offers a variety of experiences to discover, especially in the historic Dalt Vila district. From the 16th century Castle of Ibiza to the Museum of Contemporary Art and scenic strolls along beautiful cobblestone streets, there’s something for everyone.

DAY 10 – Disembark

All too soon you find yourself back in Barcelona. Make your own way back to Barcelona Airport for your return flight to Dublin.
