Experience North Wales a dramatic and picturesque corner of Wales, this tour includes a variety of excursions on land, sea and by rail. With so much to see and do in the area. The base for our tour is the Beaufort Park Hotel, located just a short drive from the historic market town of Mold and close to the beautiful countryside of North Wales. During the tour enjoy a Puffin Island Wildlife Cruise, journey on the Bala Lake Railway, Visit the National Trust Erdigg Hall and take a horse drawn barge trip along the canal.

Itinerary

DAY 1

Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point and travel to Dublin Port to join the early morning sailing to Holyhead. On arrival in Holyhead we travel to our hotel making a stop en-route to visit the seaside resort of Llandudno with some time to explore before continuing the journey to your hotel near the Mold. On arrival check-in to your hotel and relax and freshen up before dinner.

DAY 2

Today after breakfast join your coach, as we travel to visit Conwy one of Britain’s best preserved medieval towns. Its ancient walls, enclose a town of narrow cobbled streets, full of historic buildings, dominated by the castle with its authentic atmosphere. In the afternoon we visit Beaumaris, in the southwest corn of Anglesey, for a 75-minute Puffin Island Wildlife Cruise. With an abundance of Wildlife in their natural habitat, look out for the seabirds, grey seals and possibly bottlenose dolphins! Afterwards re-join your coach and return to your hotel to relax before dinner.

DAY 3

This morning, join your coach, as we head south this morning, travelling over the spectacular Horseshoe Pass to Llangollen. Enjoy a lovely horse drawn boat trip along the canal, which is part of a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to a rich variety of local flora and fauna. In the afternoon we visit the National Trust Erdigg Hall, one of the country’s finest stately homes, built in 1864-1867 for Josiah Edisbury, the High Sheriff of Denbigshire. Afterwards re-join your coach and return to your hotel to for dinner.

DAY 4

After breakfast, join your coach, first stop today is the small market town of Ruthin. On then to Bala for a delightful narrow gauge steam train journey through the beautiful Snowdonia National Park. The nine-mile return journey, alongside Bala Lake gives excellent views of the lake and surrounding scenery. Afterwards re-join your coach and return to your hotel for dinner.

DAY 5

This morning after breakfast and checking out, join your coach as we make our way back to the port of Holyhead with a comfort stop en-route before joining the afternoon ferry crossing to Dublin. On arrival, you return to your original joining point.
