DAY 1

Meet your coach at your selected pick-up point and travel to Dublin Port to join the morning ferry crossing to Holyhead. On arrival in Wales, we continue our journey towards Lincolnshire with a comfort stop enroute before arriving at your hotel in Grantham late afternoon. On arrival at hotel check-in, relax and freshen up before dinner.

DAY 2

This morning after breakfast, join your coach as we make our way to the city of Lincoln. Begin with a 45-minute city tour by coach that takes in views of the Waterfront, the Cultural Quarter, and the Cathedral Quarter. The tour typically concludes with a brief walking exploration into the heart of historic uphill Lincoln. Following the tour, take the rest of the day to wander through the city at your own pace. The old town boasts a labyrinth of enchanting alleyways and unique shops, complemented by numerous tea rooms for a delightful pause and refreshment. Afterwards, re-join your coach and return to your hotel to relax and freshen up before the evening meal.

DAY 3

This morning, after your breakfast, accompany your coach for a captivating exploration. Spend the morning at the Sherwood Forest Visitor Centre, delving into the rich history, myths, and legends of this picturesque location through a guided walking tour known as the Legend of Robin Hood Tour. Afterward, reunite with your coach as we journey into the vibrant city of Nottingham, a place brimming with attractions. Take some leisure time to explore the city centre or discover the historical sites associated with the legendary Robin Hood. If time permits, consider a visit to ‘Ye Olde Trip to Jerusalem,’ an ancient pub nestled into stone caves with a charming interior. Later, re-join your coach return to your hotel, having enjoyed a day filled with exploration and the allure of Robin Hood’s tales.

DAY 4

Following breakfast, (departure times will be confirmed by your tour manager) join your coach for a visit to to Easton Walled Garden, tucked away in a secluded Lincolnshire valley. Beyond the lane, through the gate, and past the wall, find a tranquil sanctuary where renewal comes naturally. Stroll through the gardens, relax and savour a beverage in the Applestore tearoom, or explore the Courtyard for unique finds. However, you choose to spend your time, Easton Walled Gardens provide a rejuvenating and inspiring escape.

After the gardens, venture to the quintessential English market town of Melton Mowbray. This town, steeped in history and renowned for its stilton cheese and pork pies, invites you to discover its culinary and cultural heritage.

Conclude the day with a visit to Belvoir Castle. Embark on a self-guided exploration of the castle and its gardens, immersing yourself in the rich heritage nestled in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside. Wander through a variety of gardens, such as the Rose Garden, Japanese Woodland, Hermits Garden, and Dukes Walk, among others. Re-join your coach and return to your hotel for a delightful dinner.

DAY 5

This morning after breakfast and checking out, say goodbye to Lincolnshire as you join your coach to make the return journey back to the port of Holyhead making a comfort stop enroute before joining the afternoon ferry crossing back to Dublin. On arrival, you return to your original joining point.
