Begin your day by exploring the grand halls, spiral staircases, and centuries-old chambers of Bunratty Castle, one of the most complete and authentically restored medieval fortresses in Ireland. Next, wander through the Folk Park, a living history museum that brings 19th-century Ireland to life. Stroll along a recreated village street lined with a traditional pub, schoolhouse, and general store. Explore authentic farmhouses from different regions of the country, where costumed characters demonstrate crafts and daily life from a bygone era. In the afternoon, enjoy some free time in the charming town of Ennis. Whether you choose to browse the local shops, relax in a café, or simply soak in the town’s historic atmosphere, it’s the perfect way to unwind at your own pace. Later, rejoin your coach (departure time will be confirmed by your tour manager) for the short journey back to your hotel, where you can relax before the evening ahead.

Afterward rejoin your coach, travel to Killimer to board the short 20-minute ferry across the Shannon Estuary to Tarbert—a scenic crossing that offers lovely views of the water and surrounding countryside. Upon arrival in Tarbert, continue to the Foynes Flying Boat & Maritime Museum, the only museum of its kind in the world. Step aboard a full-sized replica of a 1940s flying boat and immerse yourself in the golden age of aviation.
